StreetopiaUWS Meet & Greet
Come meet StreetopiaUWS's new Community Organizer, Andrea Fondulas! Andrea is excited to get to know the community and connect with neighbors who share her enthusiasm for reclaiming public space on the Upper West Side. She can't wait to share what she's working on, and to hear what matters to you.
Join us at Amity Hall Uptown to enjoy trivia, great conversation, good company, and exploring the Open Street!
Andrea joined StreetopiaUWS in May 2026 from a background in public policy. Sparked by years spent fixated on the long-neglected, unsafe intersections in her own neighborhood, she felt the pull to the livable streets movement. When she's not organizing, you'll find her bird watching, running, or just enjoying the UWS's world-renowned public spaces. Read more in her bio.
Group Bike Ride along W 72nd St
Join us for a family-friendly group bike ride on the Upper West Side to demonstrate support for proposed street improvements on West 72nd Street.
This is an all-ages-and-abilities event, so come with your whole family, and bring a friend.
We'll gather in solidarity for more livable streets, and ride together in community and joy. Hope to see you there ☀️🚲🌳
Co-hosted with Transportation Alternatives.
